Why Topia?
Location matters. Topia Boutique Retreat is located in the village of El Pescadero, nestled among the hills near Cerritos Beach in Baja California Sur, Mexico. This greater Todos Santos area is quickly becoming a popular destination for surfers, spiritual journeyers, mountain bikers, ATV and dirtbiking athletes, and travelers looking to find paradise close to home. Just 15 minutes down the road is the magic pueblo of Todos Santos, filled with culture, art, shopping, and endless culinary delights. I found home in Baja and want to share the magic of this area with you.
Hosting this retreat at Topia is intentional. I believe in and support their values. I admire the owners' drive and commitment to creating a facility that is beautiful, sustainable, and supports the local community as well as retreat leaders. The scenery is breathtaking, the detail of service is spectacular, and the facility offers the comfort we need to be able to relax, reset, and focus on the deeper work. The energy of Topia supports this retreat's intention of creating persona alignment.
Why Baja California Sur, Mexico?
This is my home! If you know me or have followed my story, I've traveled and lived all over the world and have discovered that adaptability is one of my superpowers. Learning to realign life towards what we really want is a skillset, and it's something I'm well practiced in. In early 2021, my life got turned upside down and I landed here, in El Pescadero, Mexico. Since then, I've intentionally rediscovered myself, my values, and realigned my life to be something I am proud of and excited about. My hope is that you can join me in learning how to do the same (without needing to move to Mexico).
Why this retreat?
I can show you that travel abroad is easy, but this retreat is more than a vacation to Mexico. Amidst the tacos, mezcal, yoga, and beach time, we will explore how you can realign your own life into something you absolutely LOVE. This isn't an empty promise. I will teach you the skills that I've personally used to create a life that is aligned with my personal satisfaction and happiness. It's a vacation and coaching all in one Mexican adventure. Topia takes cares of all the details so I have time to focus on supporting you in this process.

I'm real. I'm actually living the life I've dreamt of and I did it by being intentional. It's not magic and it's not reserved only for certain people. Anyone can have this alignment and satisfaction. What is Life Design???
If you've followed my story over the past decade, you know that I've consistently landed myself in paradise, adapted to difficult changes, and lived a life that I'm proud to share. The secret is not that you need to quit your job and move to a foreign country (or maybe for you, it is). Creating an aligned and satisfying life is an act of intentional creation and adjustment. It's not magic and there's no reason why you can't live a life you love, also. Life Design is an intentional process of creating a life that is aligned with your own personal values. It's using a learned skillset to live satisfied, passionately, and prepared to constantly adapt your life towards what will make you feel alive and aligned. The process isn't linear - we approach it like innovators or designers - which means we learn the valuable skill of adapting and realigning. |

FAQ
What is included? This retreat is nearly all-inclusive for 5 nights/6 days! The only expenses for you are your flights, travel insurance, alcohol, spa services, souvenier shopping, and any additional activities or transportation outside of our planned activities. The price of this retreat includes your stunning ensuite accommodations at Topia Boutique Retreat, roundtrip airport transfers, covid testing for departure, all meals, purified water, coffee/tea, mezcal tasting, cooking class, daily yoga, a guided hike, a daytrip to Todos Santos, life design workshops, and personalized coaching with Gina. Easy!
Can I come early/stay late? A limited number of rooms will be available at Topia Boutique Retreat for the nights on either end of the retreat. We have exclusive use of the property during our retreat, so the Topia team will be busy preparing for us. If booking a room for an additional night helps your flights make more sense, reach out directly to Gina.
What if I get COVID before the retreat? The world is weird, but you can protect your investment with travel insurance. All participants are required to purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations due to COVID. These plans range between $75-130 and it's always a good idea to travel with insurance anyway!
What if I get COVID at the retreat? All guests are required to test negative within 48 hours of arrival. Staff at Topia follows safety measure to keep the premises clean and limit the spread of COVID. It's unlikely that you'll encounter the virus here, but Topia has partnered with a hotel in Cabo that can host you for a reduced rate while you quarantine. Again, travel insurance can help cover these costs.*
Are there travel restrictions for Mexico? Nope! While Topia requires proof of a negative COVID test, Mexico does not require testing or proof of vaccinations. Within the country, masks are still required in all public places and hand sanitizer is provided at the entry of every business.
Will I need to rent a car? Nope! Transportation is included for all of our activities and you won't need to leave the retreat for anything. Roundtrip airport transfers are included.
What if I don't like yoga/have never done yoga? Newbies, yoga professionals, and people who have no interest in setting foot on a yoga mat are all welcome at this retreat. There is so much to do each day that you may even decide to stretch by the pool instead of join for yoga.
